We are so proud to highlight our ongoing partnership with Sea Haven for Youth! At Junior League of the Grand Strand, our mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact—and there is no impact more vital than supporting our local youth in times of crisis.

Whether we are sewing, cooking, writing resumes, or working on public speaking, our members are honored to support the incredible work Sea Haven does to provide safety and growth for teens in our community.

Founded in 1980, Sea Haven operates Horry County’s ONLY Youth Crisis Service Provider. Sea Haven has embarked on a continuum of youth services to meet the needs of youth and young adults in Horry County. Sea Haven provides emergency stabilization services by offering temporary emergency shelter, food, clothing, individual and family counseling, case management, referrals for extended services, independent/permanent housing, permanency planning and aftercare.

Sea Haven is the Safe Place agency of Horry County.
