Shuffle, socialize, and support women leaders at the Junior League Grand Strand’s 2026 Mahjong & Mingle Tournament!
Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the tiles, you’ll enjoy friendly play, light refreshments, and time with others who care about the Grand Strand community. Please feel free to bring your beverage of choice – yes, it can be alcoholic.
Check-In begins at 2 pm, with the first game to begin at 2:30 pm sharp after a brief welcome and house rules overview.
Tournament play will include 5 games and follow NMJL 2025 card scoring.
The purpose of this tournament is for JLGS Members and Non-Members to mingle and socialize, therefore we will operate in a sense of light-heartedness and fun! Your participation helps fund our work promoting volunteerism and improving the quality of life for people across the Grand Strand.
Our Mahjong & Mingle Tournament is more than a social tournament. It’s a way to fuel the work of Junior League Grand Strand, a 100% volunteer-run organization. Your participation helps fund training, resources, and community projects that equip JLGS members to lead, serve, and create lasting change throughout the Grand Strand.
Ticket Sales close on March 18, 2026, at midnight.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Door Prizes will be given.
Each Participant will receive one entry ticket for the door prizes included with their $50 Registration Fee. However, you can bring a children’s book for an additional entry. 1 Book = 1 Door Prize Entry Ticket. No Limit. The Children’s books will be used to stock the JLGS Little Free Library project.
